You can edit a layer’s name and its parenting from this requester. It can also be presented by double clicking on a layer name in the Layers panel.

tip

Naming layers is a great way to stay organized in Modeler and will be very important for Multi-layered objects in Layout. Each layer in Modeler opens as a separate object in Layout, so unique names will improve workflow.
