Create UN/ISO-Metric Profile

This button, located at the bottom of the Thread tab, enables you to quickly generate a non-standard thread size with a UN or ISO-Metric thread profile (i.e. a thread with a 60 degree internal angle between the sloping sides of the thread, and with the thread crest width half that of the root width). You need only specify the Length, Pitch, and Major Diameter of the thread, and optionally specify if a HiLo thread is required (by ticking the HiLo Thread box). When you click on the Create UN/ISO-Metric Profile button the remaining thread parameters (e.g. Minor Diameter, Crest%, Root%) together with various parameters on the Thread Extras, **Head ** and Nut tabs are automatically calculated ready for use. When you are happy with the values and the selections on the two other tabs, just click on the QuickBolt panel OK button to generate the object.
