This door was modeled in a layer here. For use in Layout, this would be a problem because the pivot will be where the darker cross is in the grid. Our first possibility is to move the door. For this example we'll use Rest on Ground since we are not worried how the door will rotate, it's only important that that corner of the door is at 0, 0, 0.
Once centered by Rest on Ground, you need to move it on the X axis so that the edge of the door is at X=0.
Now the door is ready for rotation in Layout but will need to be moved into place.
